Eruption at Sunrise (Idea from Magic Tree House)

At sunrise, 9 year old Kelly and 10 year old Kenny set out into the woods to take a walk. Along the way, they saw a weird shaped vehicle appear out of nowhere. They gasped, neither of them spoke. Until Kelly found her voice. "Do you think we should go in?" Kelly asked. Kenny found her voice and said, "I mean... we could, but we need to do it fast. Mom and Dad are probably gonna come out and look for us." Kelly nodded.

When they opened the door, they were amazed by how much books there were. Kelly opened a book about pirates and read part of it. Yikes. she thought, those pirates can kill us. Just then, Kenny was reading a book about volcano's. Kenny loved volcano's. She said, "Wow, I wish I was there." Then, the vehicle started moving faster and faster by the second! "What's happening?!" shouted Kelly. "I don't know!" Kenny replied. They held on to the bars inside the vehicle, then they noticed, that this was a magical vehicle!

After the moving stopped, they felt the floor tremble. Kelly and Kenny looked outside the window, they gasped. They were not in the woods anymore... they were in a town! When they got out of the vehicle, they noticed that the vehicle had stopped in one of the parking lots of one of the stores. When they stepped out, then the most amazing sight filled Kenny's eyes. They were at the exact place inside the book! Then Kenny read:

                This volcano is 500 years old. At May 21, 1875 the meanest eruption happened.

Kelly looked at the calendar in front of one of the stores, it said May 21, 1875. "Uh oh." she said. "What's wrong?" asked Kenny. Kelly's face turned pale white, then she said, "The date on the calendar says May 21, 1875." "What??!!" shouted Kenny. "Th-that's... impossible!" After a while, Kelly said, "Okay, let's just stay calm." Kenny nodded, and they both took deep breaths.

Around noon, the eruption happened. The whole town was scared. Ash fell everywhere. Kelly and Kenny decided to save the town, they put on some pillow hats, and dashed out. They found one of the strongest building in the town. And evacuated everybody into that building. After the eruption stopped, everybody was safe to go out again. Kelly and Kenny rushed to the vehicle to go back home. They found a book about the woods in North Carolina, then Kelly said, "I wish we could go there!" The vehicle moved faster and faster. Then everything was still. No volcanos. They dashed out of the vehicle and noticed that not time has passed.

Our fun trip

  Me my friend, my dad and mom, and my friends dad and mom, went on a trip to Yellowstone National Park! My friend is called Anna. She is one year older than me. She is 10, and I am 9. Anyways, Yellowstone was pretty cool. There were a lot of places to go! Old Faithful, Steamboat Geyser, Lower Falls, and a bunch more places! We also went to Moab, which is a REALLY hot place, and I mean it, REALLY HOT. My mom told me that the highest is like 46 degree celsius! I almost melted! So, me and my friend had quite a few fights in the car. BTW, we rented the car because our cars were too small! The ride to Yellowstone was about 8-10 hours. And of course, we took pit stops so we could use the restrooms and get more food,  and energy for the car. We also celebrated our birthdays together! What animal would you be?

  What animal would you like to be? I would like to be a dolphin so I can be free in the ocean, also, I can also be very smart. But one bad thing about being a dolphin is you might be captured to go to the aquarium or something to perform, and I would hate that. So... maybe a dolphin isn't the best animal after all. Another animal I would like to be is a kitty. They are cute and most of them are fluffy. My mom used to own a kitty, but they sent it to someone else. But that was before I was born.
